Mathieu Courchene - President
Mathieu, a member of the Sagkeeng First Nation from Manitoba, is the President of the Hunter-Courchene Consulting Group. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law from Carleton University and is bilingual (French and English). He was one of three founding owners of the company, which was founded in 1998. His responsibilities include the provision of the overall direction and management of the company and the development and delivery of products and services. He is involved in the development and implementation of the company’s business plan, financial processes, marketing and opportunity strategies. Mathieu’s primary areas of expertise include facilitation, management, research and writing.
Carolyn Hunter - Chief Executive Officer
Carolyn is a second founding owner of the Hunter-Courchene Consulting Group and is from the Moose Cree First Nation in northern Ontario. Carolyn, who has a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from Trinity Western University, is primarily responsible for overseeing all of Hunter-Courchene’s event planning contracts. She brings years of experience managing the details of projects and events. She is also one of the in-house Writers/Editors of all documentation leaving the Hunter-Courchene office.
Sharon Visitor - Project/Event Manager
Sharon, a member of Wemindji First Nation in Quebec, is a senior manager of projects and events. She has coordinated many successful events and also takes the lead on communications most Hunter-Courchene event contracts. Her eye for detail and design has proven invaluable in providing Hunter-Courchene clients with events that have been memorable and enjoyable. Sharon enjoys a fast paced work schedule and is able to multi-task within tight timelines. She is also one of the in-house Writers/Editors of all documentation leaving the Hunter-Courchene office.
